Deep East Texas Regional Advisory Council

The primary function of the Deep East Texas Regional Advisory Council is to provide stakeholder support through planning, facilitation, operations, and the provision of technical assistance to the region for Preparedness, Trauma, Injury Prevention, Stroke, Cardiac, and Pediatric services. DETRAC prepares our region for manmade or natural emergencies, disasters, and mass casualty events. Likewise, our Trauma, Stroke, Cardiac and Pediatric committees work to establish standards of care and protocols for consideration/adoption by area hospitals, EMS agencies, and other providers. As an organization, we foster collaboration to educate our communities and collectively deliver appropriate and compassionate care with trained providers.
